Marketing Tools

During 2005 the Township co-sponsored with the Wolfe Island Business and Tourism Association (WIBTA) a marketing initiative for tourist-related business on Wolfe Island. Funding was provided by Industry Canada through the Eastern Ontario Development Fund and Frontenac Community Futures Development Corp. and included contributions from the sponsors.

In addition to specific marketing and promotional activities executed during the 2005 season, two important tools were created for all island tourist related business:

  1. a common visual identity and logos for use in a variety of promotional and marketing activities
  2. A comprehensive strategic marketing plan that will aid business is targetting markets and ways to reach their chosen audience

These tools are available on CD and can be acquired by contacting WIBTA or the Township.
