Economic Development
The business and tourism community on Wolfe Island is represented by the Wolfe Island Business and Tourism Association (WIBTA). WIBTA works cooperatively with other organizations in the region like the Kingston Tourism Advisory Committee, Kingston Economic Development Corporation (KEDCO) and the Land O’ Lakes Tourist Association (LOLTA) to promote business and tourism opportunities.
The County of Frontenac supports responsible and sustainable economic development in the region through its Economic Development Office and the Manager of Economic Development works on behalf of the County and the four townships it represents.
The Frontenac Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) provides business development and community economic development support throughout the Frontenacs.
